Felt like something I would’ve passed as a kid a hundred times over— familiar, glowing, and a little bit haunted. Shot in the spring of 2023. Part of the Red Series.

Jake Inez is a Los Angeles-based photographer known for his evocative film work that captures the stillness, warmth, and subtle tension of everyday life. With a background rooted in analog photography and a deep sensitivity to light and color, Jake’s work blends documentary realism with cinematic mood. His visual language is shaped by his Mexican and Filipino heritage, his lifelong love of skateboarding, and time spent traveling across the U.S. and Europe with a camera in hand. His photos are quiet but resonant, reflecting themes of memory, distance, and impermanence.
