The story behind the project

The Red Series is a photographic triptych pulled from my film archive, spanning three years of work. Each image captures a quiet moment shaped by memory, motion, and the color red. I wasn’t looking for red when I made these, but it kept showing up in ways that felt honest. Not loud or urgent, but softened and reflective. Faded paint, neon light, sun-warmed benches. These photos aren't about big events. They're about atmosphere. The pause. The things we overlook. With this series, I’m exploring how color and composition can turn everyday scenes into something that asks you to stop and feel. In a world that moves fast, The Red Series is my attempt to sit with what lingers.
