Rick Crane and Rich Poole

Rick lives in the UK, where he trained as a graphic designer, but was always happier as an illustrator. Rick built a name for himself as a t-shirt designer, before entering into the web3 world in 2021. Inspired by nature, travel and architecture, his work uses simple lines and shapes, with complimentary colours to create imagery that straddles the representational and surreal. Rich lives in New Zealand, where he began his generative art career with physical plotted works, before jumping head-first into the digital realm. Known for his love of particles and prints, his work has been exhibited in multiple international galleries. Together, Rich and Rick fuse illustrative charm with hand-coded algorithms to create their unique long-form generative art collections. Despite living on opposite sides of the world, they have forged an incredible partnership over several years, and have pioneered the new genre of Generative Minimalism.
